Put some tape on your bat lengthwise to prove which hand is spinning on the bat. Many of you will be surprised
I am not sure if this means anything, but if you try one handed drills with a moving ball it is a heck of a lot harder to get a good path to the ball using bottom hand only vs top hand only..
The physics makes sense in terms of bat speed to have the pivot point as far away from the barrel as possible but you have to barrel up the ball in order for that to matter
I thought it was to reduce tension before swinging. Many MLB hitters use a very loose top hand.
Explain, please. Or better yet surprise us.Put some tape on your bat lengthwise to prove which hand is spinning on the bat. Many of you will be surprised
Where does the bat pivot around?
Is it at the bottom of the bottom hand (knob of the bat)?
Is it in between the top and bottom hand?
Is it above the top hand?

Do you keep a stiff throwing hand? Or do you let it whip?
