Down to..

Seriously CL..have you forgotten the 1000's of posts @TDS and @Work=wins has made on this? :ROFLMAO:
The difference is that It can't be a "Down to" for example Albert demo. TDS already acknowledge and agreed with what I was stating concerning Reggie and Ian. Which is totally different than "Down to" of Albert. I have no qualms of a "Core contraction" if that's the way they view it.

Albert isn't demonstrating it from a contracted core (I am just parroting the 20025 other posts from them to save them time..)..this is like Groundhog's Day.

Yea, some folks struggle when attempting to mix patterns that aren't compatible.

So we are on the same page, this is the launch position. The point at coil n stretch.
The launch position has many interesting things at that point.

It’s not just a static position, it’s a dynamic position created by coiling n stretch. Part of that dynamic action is the hitter is always working forward.

Like Hank says in his book on coiling, if you wind it up correctly it will unwind with lightening speed.

Part of coiling n stretching, is moving forward. Not necessarily the whole body moving forward.

As the heel plants the final stretch happens, your FYB, still stretching.

Not quite Shawn..

This is "swing is the shift" with the rear leg as the primary driver after slipping the hip..

The Core movement pattern maintains the rear leg/hip relationship while becoming leveraged fyb.. The forward shift has been completed but still dynamic once leveraged.
