Pujols has said many times ‘every swing comes from inside’. He also has a flat bat path.
pullers approach? I think so.
Where do we start looking to compare a "flat bat path" to something that is not?

Would location of a pitch have anything to do with whether the path is "flat" or something else?

IMO hitters who are leveraged fyb beat the pitcher to there position vs letting the pitcher dictate stride location... 2 strikes more defensive and not as leveraged.. This is what makes them more vulnerable..

I think we're saying the same thing. I look at the "leverage" being associated with the "fulcrum" point of the rear hip.

I think you would agree you don't want to rotate the hips to swing so how do the hips lead the hands?
"HYP", another really good hitting coach who used to post at another site used to say that the swing was "linear to rotational" which I liked, and I believe that applies to the rear hip as well.
