What are the dimensions of the rubber. It seems a little narrow. I get that it's thicker, and it looks like the right length, the pic looks like the width is less than 6". Just wondering if kids have trouble toe-ing the back part of it. Or are they toe-ing the black metal plate under it? Or are they just not toe-ing it at all?

The rubber is a bit small... I'm guessing now because its not in front of me, but I'd say its approx 12' wide, 4" deep, and about 1-3/4" tall

No need to, in my opinion on a mat, we put it against the rubber, same way outdoors. If you cut out a mat like I did, it fits down in the hole and obviously will not slide.

As a horse owner, I can attest that this will work. Horse mats are 3/4" thick hard rubber. If you cut it with a box-cuter (nothing else really works) to the exact outline of the device it'll work very nicely. A 6 foot by 8 foot mat will run you about $45 at a Feed & Seed store.

No problem I’ve seen but cleats are an issue. My next experiment will be a piece of pvc decking I have left over cut to a regular size rubber and mounted so it’s a more natural feel from the QOTH to a regular rubber. I did have a parent today tell me his kid pitched better than she ever had and struck everyone she threw to at practice out yesterday and she contributed it to being able to push because she knew how now.

So we've had it for over a week. She's been very busy and is just getting over being sick, so she hasn't used it as much as I wouldve like her to. She is getting frustrated that she cant seem to get the double click. She can get movement and a single click pretty consistently up to level 4.5 or so, but even at a 2, she doesn't get a clear double click. Also she pitched BP for the team in practice, she did well, but her form starting falling apart midway through. I guess its just a matter of practice.

This her on a level 3. Any advice?

I don't see enough Rear Loading to get more of a push Forward?

Also, I like to see the video camera held the longways. ;-)

Your dd is a great example of a kid who is reaching out with her left, rather than creating a thrust with her right leg.

Excellent observation. I didn't catch it at first but once you mention it it's very easy to see. Great stride, but little push.
