It could be a feature and not a bug. Most high level pitchers have some sort of "gym step".
Depending on the severity it could be no big deal. One IP is not an issue. The walks may or may not be related. The increased velocity may take away some of the accuracy. Hard to say without video.
Just my thoughts.
DD had that issue last winter. I tried for months to help her break that habit with no success.
First pitch of her freshman year at HS ump issues a warning.
My head goes in my palm.
HS coach walks to the circle. Tells DD "if you do that again you won't pitch for me.
She has never done it since.
My oldest DD was called for it 6 or 7 years ago as well. Just curious [MENTION=10877]BT3100[/MENTION] was the gym step completely off the rubber like Abbott and others?
