The Anderson Rocketech is a great cold weather bat, and the frost glove is a great glove for pitchers. 38* is a many night occurrence for spring high school softball up here in ND.
I know a few kids that still swing RTs as their gamer. The 04,05 and 07 are the real deal! Fairly small sweet spot, but very hot bats.

Nightime temps have been well below zero for a week now......daytime temps mostly staying in the single digits......with 10" of snow down with more coming Thursday.....I'll be happy if all of my girls make it to INDOOR practice Saturday

practicing in cold weather is an excellent way to invite injury!
use some common sense and modify practices accordingly.

here in NE when the season starts in April, we can still have terrible weather, cold, freezing rain, snow, etc that we have to play in- but thats during the season. I like to have them work on speed and skills in the off season.

DD#1 and I would play catch outdoors all winter, but everything else (including games) we did indoors. there is a lot you can do indoors.

I looked at the title of the thread and immediately started feeling jealous. High today locally is predicted to be 19 degrees. 38 sure would feel nice right about now... Off to the cages this afternoon.

Are you talking about things that can be done in a modest size home, or a large practice facility?

Depends on basement.:) DW nicked the idea of pitching in living room, where is perfect circle when we need him?

If she will play in these condition, she needs to practice in these conditions.

It sure would. We are also looking at 19° for a high today. DD1 asked me to take her out to practice Christmas Eve afternoon, and it was 38° that afternoon, cloudy and windy. I don't want to be outside practicing with her anything below that.
