What do you mean his bat is behind his body?
I mean the bat is in the plane of his body from the start. It doesn't get there during the swing, it is there from the start. So there is a whole lot of "around" and not so much of "along" in the swing.
In this swing the barrel comes down into the plane of the shoulders during the swing. It is more around and along. But, the barrel isn't behind the body at the start of the swing.
added: So you could say that a hitter who swings more around their body isn't out from their body (somewhat, not really, just the look it gives you).
