Why do i not like school coaching

After reading Cannonball post about school ball and the parts about their trophy case and many better off not playing school ball got me doing some self analysis. What makes me have such anti school coach stance. So I started analyzing my likes and large amount of dislikes and where they come from. After asking many questions and answering them in my head I came up with two things, knowledge and source of knowledge.
Little story/background/rambling. With a lot of shortcomings in DD first t ball coach, RH step with right foot to throw. Nxt yr I AC on team, inherited a rec team. Coached rec, DD picked up here there in TB. Another coach/parent approached me about starting a 10u tb team. DD gets into pitching. I take her as far as I can. Someone suggests PC x. Ok I see some things improve some goes backwards. I strart researching and come up with this site learning new terms HE,IR,ROTATIONAL VS LINEAR HITTING etc. IR brings up who teaches this. Local friend gives me name. I Google it and wow it brings me back to this site where he is mentioned several times in Postive light. DD takes lessons and the improvement begins and find out he is also member on here.
Now this brings me to my hypothesis: demographics of this site.
The majority on here are people seeking to learn some aspect of SB and contributers who have been there done that and share their results.

Knowledge seekers
These are parents, parent/coaches of rec low TB. Then same grouping just up a level, repeat.

Main contributers
High level TB, private instructors both producing results.

What I perceive is there are few HS coaches on here compared to non school coaching.
This makes me "assume" my local school coaches think theirs is the only way and correct way, so why have i invested so much research, downloaded so many gifs and vids from here since HE and bug squishing is correct. Why have I put so many $'s and time in pc lessons and working on hitting with her when it's all incorrect by the assumption of the school coach that dfp is wrong. All parents, rec/tb, and school coaches are on here to help these young ladies get better. But we keeping running into naysayers. Yes there are good school, rec, tb coaches and it seems most are on this site.

So I guess I unloaded my thoughts and have some isues to work out. I would like to know the demographics of this site. Is there a way to poll and break it down.

What if I'm multiple things? For example, a parent coach on a TB team.

My take on active DFP membership is that is it a LARGE majority of parents. Many of those parents also coach at whatever level their DD is currently playing.

I coach HS and TB. There is good information here but it's not the only place to get good information. I don't contribute much because I don't want to get involved in the bickering on the hitting forum and I certainly don't consider myself an expert

Let's just say, Laura likes me better, now that she is away at college. I coached DD at home. So, to her that was like living with her head coach all the time.

Another parent coach here... DD says she will coach in the future and has helped coach a 16U B team... She said she's had so many bad coaches along the way, she'd like to help give the players a much better experience than she had at times.

That's pretty funny Eric and I know where that comment is coming from! For the two years Anna played 12U TB, I was the Asst. coach on that team. The HC on this team, which BTW is a great guy and a friend but can and would lose his mind quite often with the girls!! We were playing a two day, undefeated and the #1 seed in gold. We lost our first game on just stupid stuff, gave that game away. There was a 30 minute break, had to turn around and play the same team. I noticed all the girls sitting and standing around this picnic table so I headed over to tell them to go throw and stay loose. They all got quite and gave me this stupid look, I said "ok, what are you girls up to"? The catcher, which is the HC's DD was taking a vote, an actual show of hands of who their favorite coach was and by a landslide it was me! Even the HC's DD voted for me. About that time he walked up and I walked away and those stupid girls started telling him what they were doing, it was quite the rest of the day!
