From lessons today. This was running in, not regular pitch (she was mid-40s from full pitch today). First time we've seen a 5 as the first number though! Before I think her max was 47. I know speed isn't everything or even the most important thing ;) Still, can't help but be proud.

Keep working hard, she looks like she still has a few years of growing left to do, so she will be there before you know it.

Does she have to grow anymore????? I would prefer she just stay 9. My 11 (almost 12) year old is a big ol' pain in the butt.

Last summer I had a Bushnell and a Pocket radar. A few workouts I would catch and shoot DD with the Bushnell, while the wife would shoot the PR from directly behind me, and behind a net. The Bushnell recorded consistently 1-3 MPH slower than the PR. Just sayin...:)

Way to go! Tell her to keep up the good work! I think I recognize that facility, if it is with Amy, she has done great things for my daughter as well. She is second year 12U, you will be pleasantly surprised to see her progress, especially after hits that growth spurt!

From What I've seen of Amy's post on DFP she is a coach who not only cares about her students success, but their health and well being as well. I bet your DD sees many more accomplishments in the future.

And, the PR is 1-3 mph slower than a Juggs AND you have to add 2-4 mph for the way radar guns react when throwing indoors so in reality 51 on the Buschnell can really be called 60+ :)

But seriously, congrats to your DD. That's a nice accomplishment.
