My daughter really doesn't care what level she plays at. She does want the right fit (as they all do!). She did go to a D1 school recently that has a new coach. She did well She loved everything about the school and team. The coach told her that she is finishing up 2016 roster but that she wants her to come back to their next camp. We took that as a good sign. We signed up for the next camp but really no contact from them since which is worrisome to me. She's gotten camp invites from some schools that watched her play this summer which we will attend and a Couple of good d3s that say she is on their list. A few other schools have reached out to her at all levels but not the academic fit that she is looking for so we are not pursuing
AC on DD's team this year just completed her 4th year playing at a mid major D1 last season, it is one of the schools DD sent an email of to. talked to her yesterday and she said the coach (last year was her 1st year as HC) is already recruiting 2019's.
Many/most schools drop the pluses and minuses on grades, so it's very important to push for the A- versus the B+.She's has at least a 90 average in all her classes.
