NEEDVILLE — Needville Independent School District released a statement Friday which ackknowledged that the varsity softball player who was involved in two collisions at home plate during last week’s state softball tournament has been disciplined.

I emailed the writer of the article who basically told me nothing was disclosed by the school and that no mention was made of any discipline for the coach.

On the bleachers
If something that happens in Texas, makes you concerned for your daughter in (I'm guessing) northern Virginia, you haven't wrapped her in enough bubble wrap, and your helicopter is hovering a little too high.

Crap happens.

Crap happens to good people.

This girl should be given the same chances you would give your own daughter. And something tells me if yours did something dumb you would not be proclaiming her faults from the mountain tops.
If my DD did something like this she would not step back on the dirt on my dime or time. I wouldn't be worried about something like a viral video ending her so called career because I would have ended it for her. No excuse to tolerate this type of behavior.

Catcher should be suspended for half of next season, or maybe be forced to play footbal for half a season! That is dirty dirty play. Im sure she regrets doing it.....now.
