We can agree to disagree...but, does the hitter drag the bat to the ball? I say no and don't see this as 'bat drag'.

Does she drag her hands ? or did she take her hands on shortest/quickest path ? Again don't take as I'm trying to argue about it, I just like the discussion and maybe I'll learn something new. :)

Not here.
Which swing looks 'shorter/quickest' path to the ball?
This swing:

Or this swing:

Sorry about the speed of the gifs. I didn't make them. Hope you can see the differences.

Yes, that's an easy way to put it. So is carry angle a good excuse for bat drag ? Imo it dosen't matter what causes it, it still isn't correct, right?

NO and boys have the same issue, bat drag, so it is not an excuse.
and Please do not let anyone get away with changing another meaning that describes so clearly, "the rear elbow leading the hands" Losing the spacing, letting the hands lose the race.

it not hard to fix, and can be done in many ways.

I did not see it in my daughter for quite the long while.
I front tossed, did not see it. I did not even no it to be something relevant. And seeing without video, is not always easy.

if these were golf swings, one could say that the pink swing has a good shoulder turn, where the front shoulder is under the chin. This makes it more difficult to come over the top, and clears a good path to the ball. I personally, thought that was an improvement from the first post. I won't comment on the other stuff, as you already have plenty of input.

I don't think anyone is trying to change definitions. I just think there is a difference in opinion concerning what this young lady needs to work on.

Here is full comp with the same frame (as close as possible) left out because the pink clip was missing it to begin with

Then the breakdown

I think the clip in blue is an improvement over the pink clip - not that the pink swing wasn't very good for a 10 - heck even a 16YO, but the blue swing is tighter - less shoulder rotation momentum - more core usage - more resistance ;)
