Tourneys off to a fun start!

Mississippi State just snapped a nine year SEC tourney loss streak by shutting out Texas A&M! Does it help Mississippi State's RPI or just hurt Texas A&M's RPI?

I can't wait to watch Georgia State play the winner of Georgia Southern and South Alabama (which is currently tied 1-1 in the bottom of 5).

And Mercer is currently losing to Western Carolina 3-7 in the bottom of the 6th. Hoping they can pull out the win!

And this time of year my love of the ESPN app ramps up. I love being able to catch games at my desk while working. And in the car. And at the ball field.

Edit: Mississippi State snapped a 13 year loss streak. The commentators got it wrong during the game (shocker!) and I didn't fact check before posting.

Although they were likely 100% in already, this makes any worry Miss State had go away and may get them into an easier regional depending on other results.

Mercer were one of my first teams out and really needed to get to the the championship to have a chance (or win it) . They obviously need to pull that game out.

Mercer pulled it out! won 8-7. And [MENTION=5663]JAD[/MENTION] must be amped up! Duke plays Virginia Tech in 10 minutes. Go #7!

EDIT: The Duke VT game is blacked out for me on the ESPN app. You have GOT to be kidding me. I guess because I live near Atlanta and the ACC tourney is in Atlanta? Come on! Will be following online instead I guess.

Kat is starting... so I am sure JAD is biting his nails. BTW, Kat has the best "I can't believe he didn't call that for a strike face" look... which she gives after she turns her back to the umpire...

Looks like it is blacked out because FOX has rights to it - locally it is showing on 3 or 4 of the local Fox Sports channels I get for some reason

Downloaded the FOX Sports Go app, signed in with DirecTV, connected right to the game. Just watched Huey pitch the first inning of conference play!

I am sure it wasn't and I am sure she is disappointed... But when y'all look back it (probably much later,) she started a the first ever game for Duke in the ACC tournament and you can add it to accomplishment file. Something that can't be taken away from her ever.

Great first season - can't wait to watch her and Duke again next season. They are going to be a one hell of a team by the time they are all seniors. There is a long line of high end talent coming over the next few years - including some real hitting talent.

It happens! They have had an amazing first season, especially Kat! I know you are so proud of her first year in college ball.

And Florida State is currently losing 0-3 to Louisville. Hanson got pulled in the first inning. There were a ton of upsets yesterday. You just never know who is going to show up for the tournaments!

Coppin St. and Hampton tied at 2 in the bottom of the 11th. This game may never end!
