As I said on another thread, my last all-star team in rec was sponsored by a local wine and beer store. Unfortunately I let them name themselves. They thought it was hysterical that they named themselves the "Winos." I tried a few more sensible names but they insisted and the parents thought it was quite funny also. Thank God for great parents with wonderful sense of humors.

When my DH coached LL we had to find a sponsor for the team. He wanted to sponsor them himself and put "Chico's Bail Bonds" on the back but they wouldn't let him.

Saw a rec tournament bracket with a team named "99 Problems".
Im assuming it's in reference to the name "I got 99 Problems and a Pitch Ain't one". I thought it was a bit unapropriat for a 14U rec team. Maybe ok in an adult league.
