I LOVE the kiai. Great swing. Remember to do LOTS of long tee and front toss. Also, work on keeping the head more under control.

Yes, turned 9 the end of Feb.
As suggested we went back to the basics of throwing....feeling the weight shift.
Then worked on the hips...coiling and uncoiling, letting the stride foot fall where it may.
We came to the conclusion that the back foot takes care of itself.

Very nice. I'm assuming you mean the back foot took care of itself when you returned to the basics of throwing, and the feeling of a weight shift, ... because the rear foot certainly wasn't taking care of itself prior. Very nice work. Enjoy!
