The "step and pitch" stlye must be limited to the eastern half of the US........No one else in the world seems to use it.........
The King of Step Style:
Notice the open grip, the pivot foot location at release, the closed shoulders at release, and the toe pointed straight at the catcher? Not to mention the variety of illegal pitches...
Gotta wonder if that early fielder's mask he put on about halfway through had any protective value at all...?

68-69, they almost throw like a girl! lol
I had my DD try to throw it and she was throwing some awesome sliders every couple of pitches. Still work in progress but she told me it was comfortable throwing the pitch.
