First travel tourney of the year!! ASA Diamond Classic Showcase at Tyger River Park in Spartanburg SC. This may be the only tournament of the year that I won't gripe about having the 8am game.
We're completely off this weekend. Not even practicing. We had a coach contact us about picking up; he needs a pitcher this weekend. Saying no stinks but I did it anyway. We have 5 weekends in a row coming up. She is going to practice on Saturday morning with the 05 teams in our organization though. Other than that we'll be celebrating my older DD's 12th birthday with a family pool party
PONY National Qualifier in Plainville, MA. It's going to be 93F on Saturday! We drew 9:30, 3:30, 4:30 in pool play. Can't ask for too much better than that to be able to miss the peak of the heat.
Won a great tourney last weekend, so hoping the girls can keep it up.
DD and I are going to watch the area HS senior all-star game tomorrow and then she has TB practice on Monday with that lovely 8 hour round trip drive. Then I am back at work (and she is back at school) for Tuesday and 1/2 day Wednesday, then we head back over for practice - this time we are spending the night. Thursday morning we get up bright and early and drive 8 hours to beautiful Seattle for our first tourney of the summer.
It's our first TB tournament of the season. 7 p.m. game tonight, 9:30 and 11 tomorrow for pool play. Sunday is bracket play. DD and I are so ready for the start of TB.
Volunteering starts for HS ball (and she hasn't even tried out for the team yet) we work a water table for an FBU event! Hopefully watching a Georgia miracle (Go Dawgs!) Braves game on Sunday, and family dinner Monday.
