Is this the key to the MLB hitting "process"?

Sorry, didn't see this until tonight. Harper has a very long, very powerful swing. His main issues arise in his hand and arm action. While his leg does turn the hip, it doesn't provide energy to the hands. Harper has an "up and over" arm action, in which he externally rotates the rear arm to a massive degree. In high-level swings, the rear arm's action is adduction and some supination, not external rotation. It is not caused by the rear arm.

Great Analysis.... Very Helpful ! I only wish I wouldn't have said "If you got a minute" but rather if you got the time. I can see that this could take you much more than a minute...and me days to comprehend ! Thx Again !

Do you think adding the forward "Tip-n-Rip" would be a good start for his correction? Just a simple Yes or No... I know it is was just kinda foolishness, me adding it. I can see that you would be a very busy man. I'm really wanting to know if you like the TnR...

Is this the Bonds in a phone booth?

His heel would end up hitting the concrete block.
is he spinning?
is he squishing the bug?
Does his weight ever get off his back foot? I think so, just for an instant, but this swing does not move that much

It's not about avoiding forward movement before swinging. It's about not needing forward momentum to power the swing.

Rhc, what powers the swing? Your point of view.

The battle in the rear hip socket.

I feel like my rear leg has become a habit, now my personal focus is my back. I look at every gif now trying to feel what they are feeling and doing with their back...like kinsler above. Upton I have trouble seeing and feeling.

RHC, do you really see(feel) the lower back action in the Kemp clip? I get stuck on his hands dropping followed by a spinning action. It looks like a push to me... What do you see differently?

I really do. I feel like Kemps has a scap pinch in his stance, as some pinch as the lower half is turning. I feel that pinch tighten as you see his hands drop. That pressure travels down his spine area to his lower back. I feel like it is his hard pulling back that is sending his rhpp forward quickly...possibly the spin that you see. You will never see that extreme suddenness in a push.

One of my favorite gifs ever ^^^^. About as close to live speed as you can get in a gif.

That gif from the rear, I really feel his rhpp pulling his barrel.

I was commenting a specific clip. The clips you posted above show more lower back and scap I agree. Is there a few frames removed from that fist GIF?
