worth softball bats

just found a 2014?(not the green one) worth storm 29/16 at academy for 19$ and was wondering if this bat was worth the money.

Depends on age of your daughter level of play and expectations you have.

I would never buy a -13 for anyone older than 8....

actually she is my granddaughter, 7 years old - 8u first year with an all new team, in a different town so not sure what type of competition they will be facing expectations- run fast, throw hard, and hit em where they aint. her team last year won their league as a first year 6u cp team, 2 other players are on this team and they dont like to lose.

Only thing about Worth bats is that the knob is plastic. I broke the knob off DD's bat hitting fungoes with it. Good news is, it was a discontinued mid-price model and Worth replaced it with a Sick 454.

Sound good for a 8u player. For $19 it's a steal. My dd likes the -13 bats. But she plays rec ball. Tho she is usually one of the better ones.

that was my thinking 19$ is kinda hard to pass up, specially for 7yr old. didnt want to spend alot of money but from watchin last year some bats have no pop in them at all. ive decided bats are like pizza too many topping and you never know which ones are good.
