Wilson A2000 suggestions

Hey JAD, there's 5 or 6 options on Wilson's custom builder, but they're pricy!

Are you trying to stay with the same size as a 12.5" BV1929? Which I've heard Jdaddy say several times they play around 12.25". I'm loving that B212 with the 2pc. web, just know know if it's big enough....

Would love to find something similar in size to her Vinci. I have heard the Wilson's play smaller than the Vinci's and a 12.5" Wilson may be closer to the same size as her 12" Vinci.

Is your DD using a KP92 for softball? The Vinci BV1929-L is listed on the Vinci website as a baseball glove and works great for softball. Just wondering if Wilson baseball gloves are the same. DD likes the styling of the HG12.

Yes, she uses it for outfield and corner infield.

The BV1929-L is definitely closer to 12.25 than 12.5. I actually think I sell more bv1929s for softball then they do for baseball - by a long shot

Not sure why Vinci never added the BV1929-L to the softball glove section of the website...I would have never considered it if [MENTION=2498]casedawg51[/MENTION] had not recommended it.

JAD, when you start getting up to 12.5"/12.75" in Wilson gloves you have to look at how many hand stall loops there is right there at the heel. If you look a Comocoach's KP92, it's a 4 loop hand stall so it has a pretty small hand stall as far as Wilson's go. In 12.75" the model OT6 has a 5 loop hand stall and the model 1799 has a 6 loop hand stall I'm pretty sure and the hand stall is HUGE!!

They had actually retired the glove, but I think Case and I convinced them to make it stock again due to just the amount that we sold. When they re-added it , they added it into fastpitch.

I think it was Auburn last year that several girls were using A2000's with the 2pc web, they looked sharp.

DD uses this glove for 1st base and an A2K with an H-web for 3rd and she likes them both better than her custom kip leather Vinci. (She loves her Vinci Catcher's mitt though)
