which nationals are you hoping for?

We're doing the 18u A -ESPN USSSA Road to the World Series in Orlando. All the girls wanted to go back.

I just may have to sneak over there. I will be in Orlando during that time with my kids for vacation until the 25th.

I had better check with my girls, though. I could be setting myself up for some trouble.

What are the best Nationals?

It varies by age group.

1. PGF is clearly tops at the oldest age groups (18U and 16U) and their lead diminishes going down the age levels.

2. TC/USA 18U Nats has the next strongest field of teams, however it's relatively new and its prestige isn't as high as it should be. TC/USA 16U and 14U also have strong fields of teams. Other TCS events are regional.

3. ASA 18G is strong and still has some prestige. 16G was rushed into existence last year and some top ASA teams shunned it for 16A. Gold Nats being in OR vs 16A in TN probably won't help 16G draw more top ASA teams.

I don't know of anyone else that has a true National comparable with these.

We are headed to 16U ASA Nationals in Chattanooga, then my DD is picking up for 16U PGF Nationals with another GA team.
