My daughter's assistant coach bought one from me for his daughter, despite me trying my damndest to try and talk him out of it. His daughter did not like it at all. When they tried to use it for practice, the HC tossed it aside after using it to hit about 20 balls. He's been trying to sell it for months on eBay to no avail.

As others have said, the sound is a dead thud, so even if the bat has pop, it's a turn-off for anyone using it.

Generally speaking, the word about a hot, but lesser known, bat spreads pretty quickly around here. The Miken Freak Black from a few years ago was an example of that. The very little talk about Warstic is a strong indicator about its performance.

Yup, if something is hot the performance speaks for itself. I see the same thing in golf. New stuff comes out and the cream rises to the top.
