In my opinion and of course it involves my DD.
The umpires in our League are struggling with high pitches. My DD is shorter than most and a pitch at her eye level is usually called a strike, 50/50 if a ball slightly over her head is called a strike. Taller players, the ball at least needs to be under their neck.
I know that there is no conspiracy here but I am not sure what to do. This week I started working with my DD to swing at any pitch that is not over her head which seems wrong to me but I am not sure what else to do.
I have played with the idea of videotaping an entire game and editing everything out but called strikes over the batters waist but current do not think that would go over well.
Any thoughts on what to do?
