Trading Pins at Nationals

Hello- new here. DD is 10 and going to ASA Western Nationals with her 10U team. We bought trading pins but I was curious how the kids carry them around. Do they use a lanyard, pin bag, or other method? The only place I've had experience with trading pins is at Disney where we use lanyards and the "serious" collectors have bags. I want her to be able to carry her pins around and not look like a dork! Thanks

My girls enjoyed using a hand towel that we bought at the tournament. was easy to put the pins in and had a lot of room for a lot of pins. Plus easy to hang on their walls when they got home.

We had small draw string bags that the girls kept our pins in, and had a simple hand towell that all the traded pins got pinned to...

They sell the hand towels at the tournament? Do they have a logo on them or are they something we could buy ahead cheaper?

That's an awesome pin! Our tournament isn't for a few more weeks and I don't think Huntington Beach is on the roster yet but it makes me excited to see what is out there!

HB has upgraded their pins! They were simpler 2 years ago.

You could certainly get cheap customized golf towels online.

Hey Mike, my daughter finally got one of the HB pins at States this year. Definitely one of the coolest and toughest pins to get. I must also say that there players were totally classy. One of our girls asked for a pin and the HB player didn't have one, but promised to get her one. The HB player went out of her way to track down our player later to get her the pin she promised.

I wanted to find you and say hi but my CRS (can't remember S***) kicked on with all the stuff going on and I couldn't remember what team your daughter played for lol. What was your teams theme this year?

Well actually my dd did not get the pin. I just took a picture of it to show. Our theme was "Rosie the riveter" Rialto 12U gold
