To Tommie Copper or Not to Tommie Copper...?

So I had a discussion with a veteran from the national mens softball arena and he promoted these Tommie Copper clothing line items for my DD (or any sporto's).

Before I go and run out to buy the next "rage item" on the sports scene, do any of you folks have feedback on these items with the copper technology they employ?

Personally I'd put this in the same category as the exotic metal bracelets/necklaces that you see many pro ball players, golfers etc wearing in that if you think it helps you, it probably will (or at least won't hurt you). But then again I'm more inclined to believe a physicist's opinion about something in his field expertise than a national mens SP SB player about something other than a bat.

Ya I stay skeptical on these things until more of the masses prove its worth.

If nobody here in this experienced community is jumping up and down with praise of it I will keep it on the backburner.
