Nice job here folks. If the only softball-related learning that anyone takes away from visiting the DFP forum is the importance of being and staying hydrated, then the forum is worth its weight in gold.

Maybe we need a stickied "Hydrating in the Heat" thread.

We played in 108 last year. Hydration was important. The way to tell was if you drink enough water to pee clear. The girls would chant clear pee on three!

We wound up pulling out of tourney on Sunday when a couple players went down. An ambulance was called for one girl on another team.

Played a tournament in Georgia in June of 2012 when it hit 105-106. Wasn't as bad as I feared, but mainly because of low humidity. If you mix those temps w/ high humidity in the south, I'd be worried.

Wow.... I'm hating all of you so bad right now. The forecast for the Chicago area is 50's with rain, clouds and wind for the next week.

Just for perspective. We played saturday it was 40 degrees with a light rain and a brisk wind off the ocean.
