Pretty surprising. Don't the Makos only come in drop 10? Didn't think elite college players would use drop 10 bats, but obviously I was wrong about that.

I think you're correct about drop 10. I think Kellie Fox is using one and she has 7 HRs.

She needs to the "the coach's review" of the Mako. He writes:

However, because it is a two-piece bat that comes only in a -10 drop, the 2014 Easton Power Brigade Mako (-10) 2-PC COMP Fastpitch Softball Bat is best suited for: 1) strong, smaller/younger players; 2) slappers; and 3) older contact hitters. Older power hitters might over-power the 2014 Easton Power Brigade Mako (-10) 2-PC COMP Fastpitch Softball Bat.

Clearly it's not working well for her.
