I hope so. Next weekend around Palm Springs will be very telliing as they play #8 Texas A&M, #9 Nebraska and #14 Missouri.
A lot has been posted about their bats, but their lack of pitching hurt them more. Teams with an ERA of 3.90 don't fare well.
Evidently Kenzie Fowler was hit in or around the face with a line drive, yesterday. It was reported that she was walking, but no one has posted anything at all about it, since.
Yup, she took a shot. She was dressed out today but didn't play.
Arizona protected their house and run-ruled Bama today in 5, thanks to a 2-out grand slam by Mo Mercado. Grand Canyon University gave Arizona the most competition of the weekend. GCU looks pretty good, so did Bama. Arizona is 9-0 with all games at home though. Pitching has depth this year. Let's see how they do neutral and on the road.
Looks like the Arizona has a team ERA of something like 0.500 after 9 games.
Yup, very tough competition coming up. New polls show 9-2 Arizona ranked 14/14 but have played all 9 games on their field. 9-2 Texas A&M 12/16, 4-1 Missouri 16/18, and 7-2 Nebraska 11/12 are 3 of the 5 games Arizona will play. They'll also unranked Fresno State and UNLV. 8-2 Fresno State beat NC State, lost 7-0 to ASU at ASU, and lost 10-9 to Oregon. 2-7 UNLV hs played tough squads so far, with 4 of their 7 losses to ranked teams (Washington, Baylor, Oregon, Minnesota).
I went to all the games and saw most of the Wildcats using Makos with a few LXTs also.

AZ went 4-1 with the lone loss to Mizzou, 2-0. This weekend propelled them into the top 10.
Pretty surprising. Don't the Makos only come in drop 10? Didn't think elite college players would use drop 10 bats, but obviously I was wrong about that.
