Thanks to recommendations on this board, after I read it, I bought The Mind Gym for each of my DGDs teammates after the spring/summer season. I got the look, "You want me to read this?".
Now during each of the fall tournaments at least two or three of the girls have thanked me for the book. I always remind them to apply it to everyday life, including school. I also tell them now that they have read it, go back and study it like I do.
Several of the parents have thanked me for the book and have read it. They rave about how good it is. One even made her husband to go buy his own because he wanted to mark it up.
