In our league (using USSSA ruleset, but not a USSSA league), we started with 7 teams. Last night, one of the teams disbanded with four games left in regular league play. Since we are so far into the season, the remaining games are going to be counted as forfeits, giving an automatic win to the other team.
My question is whether these games should count as a 0-0 "win" or if there is a standard score that is associated with forfeited games. This could be significant because the seeding for the tournament is based upon total wins first and runs scored second. Teams #1 and #2 are within a win of each other, so there is a real possibility of a 1st place tie based on total wins. Runs scored could be the determining factor.
