I've watched the last five years as players that were great 10U pitchers have quit and no longer play to girls that could barely get the ball over the plate that have turned into the better pitchers in the region. That coach has no idea how your DD will turn out. It's up to your DD if she wants to pitch. If she puts in the time and effort she can succeed. My DD was one of the can't barely get it over the plate girls to winning the majority of the games she pitches. To me pitching is 30% physical and 70% mental. If she can handle pressure she can succeed.
