Slap Hitting Help

Some clips of slap hitting. She’s been learning to slap for a couple months now. What are some improvements that can be made to her form. One thing I’ve noticed is I feel like she starts turning towards first base too soon. She struggles with hitting the ball to the ss side of the field. Could this be caused by her turning to first too early?

Her hips are turning far too much prior to contact. Her belt buckle is pointing almost toward the second baseman by the time she makes contact. She needs to really work on making sure the back foot lands with the toes pointing towards the third baseman or SS, and keeping her hips from rotating so far so early. That step with the rear foot needs to be more of a cross-over step than simply turning and stepping forward. Timing is always an issue with slappers, but she probably also needs to get more comfortable being "late" and quick with the hands rather than early with the feet and slow with the hands.
