Late to the thread but watch back foot action. Pushing off or anchor?I thought this was a interesting swing as far as simplified.
This was a HR to dead center, just over the fence.

Your back heel must stay down until both knees roll over - which happens from toe touch to heel drop
Ok, is it pulled off or pushed off or both?
Pushed off from initially, but then I think it’s anchored b/c of the pitch type and location.
Who’s the catcher? Would that be Pudge? His reaction makes me think that was a CU or breaking ball that was heading for the dirt.
This also makes me suspect that b/c he was trying to stay back longer, on this particular swing, his rear foot acts more like anchor(but still eventually gets pulled up).
Since it’s only one swing, I can’t say if that action was always in his swing, or if it was due to pitch type and location.
And I also remember him having (and being known for) a more pronounced leg kick than seen here.

His back foot actually does a little clockwise turn. I like his swing a lot.
