I stayed on the move when DD was being recruited, several of the coaches would ask where her parents were and our coach had hell pointing me out. Once DD's future coach found out who I was she laughed because she shad watched about 3 games in Colorado sitting right next to me. Had another one come up to me while D was in the circle and ask if I knew who her parents were, I told them they I didn't see them at the moment but Dad was an awesome guy. I just never wanted to be the reason DD missed out on an opportunity. Our coach always worked the crowd during games. He did an outstanding job, and we will forever be grateful. At times when she pitched in big games with a lot of coaches around I would just go for a walk, I was more nervous than she was.
