Yeah - getting hit in the pelvic bone is NOT fun and can hurt for a while. I'd definitely be tentative catching in that situation. It's cool that a solution is available!

Although I don't have pelvic protectors I do wear a chest protector with a flap down there like a baseball style one. I don't care if your a girl it still hurts getting hit down there!
