I have helped several local girls put together recruiting videos to send to interested coaches. They have all been infielders or catchers, this week I am supposed to film/edit a pitcher that has several schools interested.

Do any of you have any suggestions on what to film or ideas that would make her video/workout look better?

1. MUST have a real catcher catch for her she'll look so much better than with dad doing it.
2. Colleges aren't going to believe she can really throw 18 different pitches all well. So just film her top 3-4.
3. Film some from the side to show her mechanics
4. Film some from behind the catcher (outside fence is fine) to show the movement.
5. Mic the catcher if you can so you can clearly hear the ball POP really loudly.
6. As with fielding and batting they are going to see what they want in just a few of each pitch. She doesn't need to throw 15 fast balls, 15 change up, 15 rise balls, then do a montage of "fast ball, change up, curve, fast ball, rise ball, change up." Just film 4-5 of each from side and 4-5 of each from behind the catcher.
