Do the Pocket Radars Ball Coach version have similar readings to the original Pocket Radar? Can't afford the 300+ for the Ball Coach version but there's some original Pocket Radar reasonably priced....

The issue with the original is that it takes a reading at a "point in time" relying on the button press. It's a bit less reliable than the ball coach....but you can compensate for it's shortcomings by ALWAYS erring on the side of caution. Simply said.......try to be a hair early on the button press.....if you get a reading, you were damn near max speed, or close enough for the error to be immeasurable. If you get no reading, or a ridiculously slow reading, you were TOO early. You have many reps to get it right. If the speed is of any interest at all, it can be repeated over and over.
