Coogans, absolutely that is what I am talking about. They always it seems determine your seed in bracket play. Again, I want to be clear...ASA/PGF State Championships, qualifiers, big draw events, major tournaments, etc., should be seeded both for bracket standing and Gold/Silver divisions. But your every weekend whatever tournament, where 6-12 teams are signed up...those are what I am referring to.

I live in NC and the USSSA tournaments are set up where pool games are just practice games. I think it depends on the league you play in, not the loccation.
