I don't know how you have time to do both TB and Rec or why you would want to. Maybe she should move up to a higher level of TB and play good competition all the time? Maybe your area has better rec ball than mine. Our 11u girls would destroy the 14u all stars in our area so I would hate to see what they would do to their own age or younger.

We have very little 8u travel here. People drove over an hour to play for the one available team. Things explode in terms of opportunity starting at the 10u level. Even at 10u, the typical schedule here is 1/2 practices a week for travel and 2 1/2 day tournaments a month. Throwing in a rec practice and Thurs/Sat games allows for continual play when there is no tourney.

I don't see a problem as long as you play in the League. Our boys 10year old all-star team is full of 10 year olds who play major little league all year.
