I don't recall having seen her outside of this and a couple other demo videos and have wondered if she uses more lower body.

My DD tended to "dori-flex" too, but not as dramatic as BM's picture. We had to try a "flexed" position and she immediately felt the ability to impart more spin on the ball and she claims more control.
