Below are 2 links of my little one pitching. One is her pitching in our backyard and the other one is her pitching this weekend. I realize the game video shows we need a lot of work. But my main concern is the the drive foot getting stuck in the hole. How do I address this problem? Tell her to plow threw and drive up or just realize not every field is perfect. She did pitch in the Championship game and struck out 12 of the 18 batters she faced. I just don't like seeing her drive foot getting stuck.

Once again thanks for all the help.

You worry too much.

She needs to be 2 years older and throw 10,000 more pitches. She needs more game time.

Until the pitching motion becomes second nature, she will have mechanical problems in games. As she practices more, she will think less about the pitching motion. It becomes automatic.

Just keep doing what you are doing. It takes time.

It looks like you guys are doing a lot right based on the practice video! Just keep ingraining the better mechanics in practice and I believe you will see more and more of those in games this spring. Especially if you get a break from pitching in games this winter and can focus on pitching with correct mechanics in the off season. It is really hard to make any lasting changes to mechanics in the midst of the season.
