Thanks everyone. I (we) have decided now that things are lightening up, we're going to take a trip to Omaha to work with Mr Hillhouse for a weekend. I know everyone has their pick of who's the best pitching coach (Pauly, Tincher, Java, etc) but this is the avenue we're taking. My DD is a visual learner so having someone who's been there and done that, with the ability to demonstrate will be a big help. I know he sometimes reads these posts so without trying to butter him up, setting this up has been pretty easy and he seems to be one of the most easy going people I've communicated with in the softball world. That's not saying any of these other coaches are difficult, its more of a compliment to him. There are so many egos out there in the softball world it's quite sad. Despite all his accomplishments in both pitching and coaching, he's one of the most self deprecating people I've interacted with. Anyway, I hope to give you all some good news soon with our progress.
