Guys, Long time lurker, first time poster. I feel like we've tried everything. I cannot get my DD to get her arm close to her body at release. You can also see how far it goes behind her on the downswing. The entire circle is broken. When she goes slowly she can get somewhat close but, I'm at my wits end to get her arm close. Any suggestions?

The first thing I notice is she opens up (turns sideways) way too early. When her push off detaches and her pitching arm is horizontal her shoulders are completely sideways, that is way too early. The shoulders need to stay square until the arm gets to horizontal or close to it.

And at the time her stride foot plants her arm looks to be locked out, not bent/flexed, although the camera angle makes it tough to be sure about this. Try keeping more flex in the arm over the top and down the backside.

ArmWhip with some good pointers. Her upper arm doesn't compress on her ribcage. IMO, if it does your fingers will be pointing down at 6 o'clock.

You could tell her to move her body to her arm. Do not tell her to move her arm to her body.

Her hips should close to 45 degrees before her arm goes past the hips.

Hm, her arm is behind her Body. way too far from a straight line to a pitcher, that result is a hurling movement to the release point. 2. Her food is not under her body, so she has probably no balance if she lands.
I would take a static Pitch position, without walk or jump.Just stand and turn you arm (or pitch a ball)in a straight line- best in front of a mirror. You can watch your arm.
If it works, try normal movement. Just
