My daughter played in a softball field that has the two pitching rubbers on the pitching circle. One rubber is at 40 feet and the other is at 35 feet. She had a hard time because she kept slipping when she landed on top of the second rubber. Our coach complained to the umpire about this problem and he said that nothing can be done about this. Does any one have a similar problem?

Our association uses temp. mounds that can be removed, capped and covered. We have two fields that have mounds at 35', 40' and 43 feet and there is no problem. The brackets are "H" shaped and get burried and left with rubber caps over the ends.

Someone should be able to remove it. Our rec field used for many levels of softball and baseball, there are tons of removable rubbers. Well, actually there is one rubber and a ton of plugs. :p I would request to have it taken out.
