I would also like to point out that whenever a player is backing up a play, get far enough way that you can reasonably expect to field any errant throws or deflections. The other day I was watching college softball and F1 was backing up a throw to 3B, but she was standing in the coaching box instead of next to the fence, so when the ball got by F5, it also got by F1 and went into the dugout for an extra base.
