Overhead throwing speed?

I would agree with the 58-59 range as being considered a very strong arm.

I measured my son when he was 23. He had been out of baseball, 5 years. After a brief warm up, and from 60 feet, he could hit 60mph with a softball. This was from a 6'1" man. 60 mph would be outstanding for a young lady.

TB coach and I did our DD's last year. His dd is third primarily and catcher...and was 16 then...my is a pitcher and second base 15 then. We just did load and throw. His dd was 55 and mine 50. His dd has a great arm and makes plays that just make you go wow, . We will have to do this again this off season to see what they do.
