Is hip shoulder separation before you open? I know opening is not just opening up. Look at the recent men posted, they delayed opening and then open hard.

Due to the intentional delay of opening, I am always impressed with how far off the rubber some pitchers get and still be at 3 o'clock with the ball.

What she's doing doesn't really fit my definition of hip/shoulder separation, I think of it as a stretching/loading action. I get that her hips and shoulders aren't aligned but I think in this case their action is not connected, she's turning her hips as part of her launch.
