The video is too dark. I lightened it up some, but a better video would help.

She is on the right track. There is a big difference between your 12yo and your 10yo... Your 10yo is doing a lot of things correct IMO.

My big issues are, why is she forcing herself into a hello elbow finish, when she naturally goes across her body after release?

And she needs to put the brakes on at the end. It's like she hops and puts her back foot behind her knee to keep her from going further forward.
 
Looks like the forced hello elbow is actually helping propel her forward more at the end.

Just tell her that she does not need to come up with her elbow probably trying to please a coach or something she just heard once but stuck with her you can see see wants to follow through naturally.

She needs to stay open, the shoulders need be facing 3rd at release and hips can close after release and she is on the side of her pivot foot, needs to be up on her toes.
