take a look at this photo. Imagine how this would have turned out without her wearing a mask. This was the third out of the inning she came in the dugout with some dirt in her eye, washed it out and came up as the leadoff batter that inning and hit a double. It makes me cringe to think where she would have been instead of hitting that double had she NOT been wearing a mask.

While watching Washignton and Oregon they went into detail about the Washingtons pitchers mask.

They said her getting hit in the face by a line drive did so much damage she even has 2 hearing aids!!!!

So its more that injury and surgery-were talking a lifetime disability risk.........

I thought that Inglesby was born 85% deaf bilaterally? I think the facial fractures were in her first year of college.

Thanks DD follows her. DD is 100% deaf in the range of speech in her right ear.

DDs new teams colours are purple/black/white.We have our 1st outdoor practice on Sunday so she cant wait to wear her new mask.
