Thought about it, but still too young. I think the pitching at 10U being at 35ft is more of a challenge than 12U at 40ft. She is also with a great group of talented girls. I think the 2003's in our area has more talent than the 2002's.

She's 10??!! Holy hell!! There is SOOOO much good going on here.

If anyone tells you that her swing is "too baseball-ish", smile, nod, and file that away in the "he's an idiot" folder. Next time she crushes one (which I suspect is frequently), ask them if it was "too baseball-ish" for their liking.

Her coaches for her new spring/summer team are both former college baseball players. No more have to listen to the phrase "baseball swing."

It's hard for my eyes to be picky in real time. She looks like she has plenty of power. I'd have her working on her technique for pitches on the corners and as, rhc says, change-ups. If she can hit the ball as hard as it appears, word will get around and she's not going to see many fastballs down the middle. :-D
